Wavewulf ‘Lights Across The Sky’ – Review

Wavewulf has recently released a new album The North and The Sea, the synth-pop experience is a compelling album that adds another fantastic addition to Wavewulf’s impressive catalogue, and a stand out track from this wonderful album is the alt-pop inspired ‘Lights Across The Sky’

The song starts with a combination of subby bass, percussive elements  and an intense sounding synth in the background. It sounds very refreshing. The featured vocalists voice is wonderful and harmonises perfectly with the music, (sounding reminiscent of NAO).

What Wavewulf does so well is take the listener on a tour to explore all the different sounds and their dynamics.

Speaking of his new cut, Wavewulf said: The album was inspired by a recent trip to Iceland. At a time when I was feeling claustrophobic and disconnected, I found a sense of freedom in the power of the sea. Being alone, being together, being connected, being disconnected.”

With ‘Lights Across The Sky’ , Wavewulf has created a wonderful and captivating song with a unique sound that makes it stand out from the masses. We cannot wait to hear more from him.

Be sure to check out ‘Lights Across The Sky’ and The North and The Sea out now!
