Explore spiritual escapism with Sira Garcias’ new album

After 13 years in the making, Sira has released her album The Tree of Life and the Strength of Moving On, Pt.2.

A musical statement like no other, her tracks aim to help listeners meditate and relax. In her other life outside music, Sira is a practitioner of alternative medicine.

Sira originally composed music for her patients to listen to in her clinic, but it became clear that many more people could experience the same tranquility and peace wherever they are.

The results of the album are mesmerising. The use of piano and the string family, ranging from the cello, to the viola to the violin, gives each track a sound of deep transcendency.

Hello was released in April last year

About Sira Garcias

Sira is originally from Barcelona but after moving to London when she was 20, she started studying Diplomacy and International Relations.

Soon after, she realised her passion lied elsewhere and she took a leap of faith and followed her own path to study Alternative Therapy and Music.

“I already had a strong spiritual connection since I was a child… I loved to sing and write poetry.”

SIRA GARCIAS

Studying both Reiki and Chinese Medicine, Sira came to appreciate that meditation, relaxation and spirituality went hand-in-hand with music.

With this in mind, she looked to create music for her clinic which would create the right environment for her patients. Her latest album, The Tree of Life and the Strength of Moving On, Pt.2, explores instrumental soundscapes to allow listeners to not only enjoy the music, but to use it as part of their own self-therapy.

For yoga and meditation lovers, this is a fantastic album to realign yourself; if you’re feeling stressed or anxious, it is a perfect listen to help bring you back to the present moment.

Even some of the song titles infer relaxation and inner peace, such as ‘Your Choice’ and ‘Free Souls’, while the beautiful composition of each track captures both the essence and atmosphere of tranquility.

“I don´t care about superficial smiles, I care about happiness.
I don´t care about material fame, I care about spiritual matters.
I don´t care about those who try to create an artist with an empty heart, I care about lineage and pure talented artists with strong goals.
I don´t care about robots, I care about dreamers…
If I have the chance to change something for good, I will put all my positive energy into it.”
