Back with the new single, ‘Laundering Diamonds’, Purple Glass remind us all of just how heavy, heavy rock can be!
Roaring out of the underground noise and industrial scene in Wales, Purple Glass have risen from the ashes to bring a much-needed perspective to the modern music table.
Band members Evan Davies and Randell Denning focus their sound on highlighting society’s subtleties that often go unnoticed. The band are currently working on their new album, but for now, ‘Laundering Diamonds’ gives a taste of what’s to come for this rock duo.
“We represent where we believe is a lack of experimental yet, concise rock music in the guise of the noise and industrial subgenres on the radio and we believe our music represents a gap in the market and what we ourselves enjoy listening to.

Despite the fact the band seek out harder yet more straightforward rhythms and riffs, Purple Glass are all about the message hidden in the lyrics.
Allowing listeners to come to their own conclusions about their music, Purple Glass bring the lyrics to the forefront whilst the heavy guitars and crunch of the bass still fuels listeners with primal aggression, fit for any dance floor or mosh pit.
The nihilistic lyrics on “Laundering Diamonds” emphasise the overall message and tone of what the band is trying to get across to the audience.
“We provide thought provoking social commentary that doesn’t ask you to pick a side merely to understand the nuances of situations and events and come to your own conclusions.”
